What is Recall AI?

Recall is an AI tool that lets you quickly summarize and save any online content, from YouTube videos to articles, podcasts, and more, into a personal knowledge base.

How does Recall AI work?

It categorizes these summaries and links them with related content you've saved before, uncovering connections and bringing up relevant past content just when you need it.

Recall also has a review feature that leverages two scientifically proven learning techniques—active Recall and Spaced Repetition—to serve you with questions based on your knowledge base, surfaced on a schedule tailored to your learning curve.

Massive time-saver, great for building a personal knowledge base

To stay current in my profession, I need to watch a lot of YouTube podcasts. Recall has become a massive time-saver for me because, with the summaries, I can focus on the essential bits, jump to them, copy interesting notes from the summary, and sometimes even use the quiz to ensure I retain what I learned. It has increased my podcast throughput by at least threefold, and I absolutely love it! (And yes, I tried so many other knowledge management tools over the past 20 years, but this one makes everything super easy!)

Fairly new to Recall AI, but it is one of the more interesting tools of this caliber available

Recall is extremely fast and intuitive to use. Markdown support and export is top-notch. There are many tools in this space right now, each one having different quirks, strengths, and weaknesses. Having used many of them, Recall stands on its own. I'd highly recommend checking it out if you haven't as it does add value in the summaries alone, even if one doesn't use the AI card feature. Pros: - polished and refined interface - works equally well on desktop & mobile - Markdown export - Solid and steady dev team behind it - Only charged for the AI card usage Cons: - Might be a little pricey for some that use AI cards, but don't use the app daily
