Why people pick Todoist
- Natural language capture that's still the fastest in the category
- Ramble voice capture is a real differentiator for on-the-go input
- Runs everywhere: Windows, Mac, web, iOS, Android, watches, widgets
- Genuinely one app for both work and personal life
Best for
- All-rounders: covers a huge range of use cases without straining. You could hand it to your grandma and she'd get it, yet it runs serious work and full personal life management (Francesco's line, used in the Wunderlist article)
- Work-life blenders: the real reason it's compelling is that you can jump between use cases. Great as a pure personal-life tool, equally good as a work tool, and you don't need two apps
- People burnt by shutdowns: independent, mature, not going anywhere
