Vimcal Review - AI Summary

A great calendar that needs the attention of it's team.

Vimcal is one of my favorite pieces of software of the last 5 years. Vimcal's design is highly attractive and well thought out. Vimcal is highly performant. Vimcal's time zone and scheduling features are outstanding. With all that said, Vimcal carries a premium price tag among calendar and scheduling apps and has an overall limited set of features by comparison to other tools that share it's attention to design, performance, and calendaring features. Having used Vimcal for 2 years now, it's obvious that the Vimcal team put Vimcal in a sort of maintenance mode at some point in order to build out the executive assistant part of it's business. So little seems to have been added, refined, or changed with the Vimcal calendar app over the last year that it's difficult to justify a premium for an app that does not seem to be in active development.
