Clearest communication

I started my "meditation journey" on this app. I've tried dozens of other apps but I have to say, Headspace really is one of the best if not the best. First of all it's pure meditation absent of the modern-day "affirmations+love yourself" non-sense. It tried to include courses with some of that but overall, most of meditation is focused on teaching the meditation techniques. It was the only app that clearly communicated the basics of meditation like not trying to control your emotions or thoughts and only applying effort to focus (not to un-focus on distractions). The problems? It relies mostly on techniques like focused awareness instead of the full spectrum of awareness.
