Arc Browser is a browser experience that can be accessed through Windows and Mac as a way to browse the internet in a much cleaner user interface.
This launch has become very popular among many professionals, who use it as a better alternative to Google Chrome. It has a combination of customizations, keyboard shortcuts, and better ways to navigate the web using tabs and spaces, which allows you to coordinate your space on the web a little bit better.
Google Chrome has been one of those applications that has ruled the browsing space for many years, so this browser wants to try and take that on by creating a better browsing experience. It does that by making a clean and calm layout that utilizes the entire real estate of the screen and allows you to access the tabs on the left-hand side. It also has an AI experience that can be added to your account and an iOS application called Arc Search, which allows you to browse the web.
But how does it compare, and what are some of the best features inside of Arc Browser?

Complete experience
Before this, I used Brave, but it never really sat right with me. I rarely used the bookmarks feature, but I know that some people use it extensively, but I just couldn't. When Arc Browser first released, I was very intrigued by it and the sidebar is the game changer. It takes a lot of screen real estate, which is precious, but it's worth the compromise because now I'm using all the bookmarks more efficiently, I manage my tabs more efficiently, and overall my workspace isn't cluttered with random links and websites, which I really appreciate. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a seamless browsing experience.

The best browser solution for multiple profiles and hundreds of tabs
Arc feels like a new generation of browser that seeks to solve problems you may not even be aware of with your current browser. The power of Arc comes from its sidebar, with a vertical orientation of browser tabs. Other standout features: 1. Easy profile switching: You can have multiple different sidebars, each easily side-swipeable to navigate between them. A profile sandboxes your accounts and cookies, so if you have Gmail accounts for work and personal, you can establish each in its own profile. You can also specify different base URLs to open in a particular profile – they call this Air Traffic Control. For example, I have Amazon links opening in my Personal space. 2. Favorites: You can create tiles for your favorites along the top of the sidebar for nice big click targets. There are some fun easter eggs. For example, if you make Spotify one of your Favorites, it will show little musical note animations emanating from the tile when you're playing a song. 3. Bookmarks and pinned & expiring tabs: Tabs can be made permanent in your sidebar. Ones you haven't saved can be set to automatically close after a particular duration, customizable per profile. You can also move tabs between profiles, so for example I have a profile whose rule is to never close a tab, allowing me a place to dump links I know I want to keep without having to file them right away. 4. Picture in picture and Split Views: automatically putting videos that are playing into a smaller window when you switch to a different tab is great to be able to look things up while watching YouTube. Other browsers may have Split View between multiple web pages, but not as intuitive as dragging a tab alongside another. This saves a ton of time when trying to reference a web page while writing an email. It would take a lot more space to extol all the virtues of Arc. But it's fair to say that this piece of software has had the most surprising positive effect on my productivity & organization.
