Great for ADHD Management

This is the only app that has helped me effectively manage asks as someone with severe ADHD. Quite expensive but worth it!

Great Foundation - Very Buggy!

I'm a Microsoft 365 stack user. I was hoping to use Akiflow to bring together my Outlook calendar, MS To Do, and ToDoist (personal) tools. It works flawlessly with Todoist, but the MS 365 stack syncs are slow at best, and buggy at worst. Occasionally, it won't even sync. I've yet to get it to block a task out on my calendar in Outlook. It shows up in Akiflow, but never on my calendar (even though I have all settings configured to automatically lock it on the calendar). The. MS To Do integration can take an hour to reflect changes in To Do. I've troubleshot it in every way I know how, but it's just buggy. Occasionally, and for seemingly no apparent reason, navigation keyboard shortcuts just stop working in the app. I have to force quit it (Mac) and open it back up. Great foundation, beautiful app, great potential, but I can't use it daily because of the sync/stability issues.

A bit overwhelming but very effective.

I think Akiflow is a really powerful app, but honestly, it feels a bit too much sometimes. I love how well it integrates tasks and calendars—it’s helped me stay on top of things in a way no other app has. But, I have to admit, it took me a while to figure everything out, and even now, I don’t think I’m using half of what it offers. It’s definitely geared toward people who want every detail organized perfectly. For someone like me, who just needs simple, practical tools, I sometimes wonder if I’m overcomplicating things. The price is okay for what you get, but if you’re not using it fully, it might feel like a stretch. Still, it’s solid, and I’d recommend it for anyone who wants serious productivity support. Just be ready to invest time in learning it!

The Akiflow team is doing amazing work, and they still have a ways to go.

Akiflow as a premium calendar experience is a fantastic tool. Akiflow as a task manager is a work in progress. The core task management functionality is intact. There have been some road bumps along the way in terms of integrations stability. The Akiflow team is very responsive and works hard. However, it's very difficult to overlook stability issues when most of your productivity is handled by a single tool like Akiflow. Rounding off 2024, Akiflow seems to be focused on refining their mobile experience. With this work and once the team re releases the iPad app, which was removed a short while back, I'd say Akiflow will be well worth the cost.

Excellent app but...

It is exactly what I was looking for until I connected Jira account to it and receive a load of entries into inbox without being able to remove them. I decided to clean Jira first and then retry Akiflow later. However, having emails, calendars and tasks in the same app is pretty crever and practical.

Power-User Calendar

Bottom line, Akiflow can be as complex or simple as you need it to be to streamline your day and get things done! As a PhD student with ADHD, Akiflow has been a game changer to say the least. I am able to stay on track with my writing, teaching, and exams by: (1) strategically prioritizing what is important through through deadlines, tags, filters, projects, and priority levels, (2) scheduling my day with powerful time-blocking features, (3) collecting my tasks and ideas with quick capture and app integrations, and (4) easily finding meeting times using their scheduling link options.

Google or Microsoft Account mandatory

It is not mentioned here, unless I have overlooked it. But to use Akiflow, a Google or Microsoft account is mandatory. Personally, I would never voluntarily entrust my data to one of these companies. If you are not prepared to do this, you cannot use Akiflow. Consequently, I personally am also not prepared to use products from companies that have this as a prerequisite. Especially not for the amount of money that Akiflow charges for its services. I therefore had to delete my account immediately after setting it up. A tip: The first time you cancel, you get a 40% LIFETIME discount. If you confirm it, even 60%. Is this serious business behaviour towards its loyal customers? I hardly think so.

Customer Service takes way too long.

Great product, but customer service response time is not fast. If your system goes out, or if there is a technical glitch they will respond the next day or day after, and you will be stuck for hours without immediate help. I just paid for their "teams" product but had no formal training and nothing working. I wasted hours of not being able to train my employee because of the horrible wait times. We kept getting error messages, and were not setup for success. If people are going to pay for the subscription they should be ready and willing to help. I asked for a reasonable accommodation via phone call for my learning disability but they would only offer me a schedule video call. Help needs to be available immediately, especially for the USA.

Akiflow is my productivity command station

I have used and seen Akiflow grow from a small app to the powerhouse app it is today and I have to say the reason it is successful now, are their willingness to adapt and grow in this "productivity" space. I am not joking when I say it's my command station, Akiflow consolidates everything I need to focus on, and it does it so seamlessly. Akiflow has a large set of integrations that other competitors simply don't have. One of the main integrations you won't see with other competitors(so far only one other compt has it) is JIRA. Akiflow can automatically pull assigned JIRAs, I can then move them onto my calendar, and now my protected time is communicated with those at work when they look at my calendar. I also do this time blocking with Todoist, certain emails, and Linear(using zapier). The desktop app is robust, while their iOS app can randomly have small microlags if you're doing a lot in it. Overall, Akiflow is an amazing tool if you don't want to go to your other 4 apps to see tasks or projects. Let Akiflow be your source of truth to get things done.
