It works and I use it a lot
I use Asana a lot: for personal stuff, for home business stuff, and at the office. I haven't been able to convince the company I work for to use it; however, I still use the free version for my team. The paid version is worth it for the reporting alone. My main issue with Asana is the unnecessary complexity. Consider it like "Android when iOS will do." There are a lot of integrations available which is useful. We pair it with slack for our personal stuff (home management). Biggest advice I can give to project managers using this tool: Don't over-complicate things even though the features are there. Just because it's a feature, it doesn't mean it needs to be used in every situation.

Effective project management
I only used Asana for a while. It appears to be a solid tool for project management however I initially felt a bit loss. The onboarding can be better so that it is easier to get started with the tool, especially for small teams.

Ideal tool for most projects.
Asana is my go-to project management tool since 2015. It's a "set it and forget it" kind of software. The overall UI is relatively easy to understand. Unless you have very unique workflows, Asana can handle whatever project you throw a it. Also, it has one of the most generous free plan out there.

Great tool to manage projects
It's a great tool but it needs some improvements some aspects to be an awesome tool. It helps a lot when managing projects and to know whats happening and who is doing what.

Good app and easy to use but ...
I really liked using this app for daily tasks and planning ideas even as it has this nice feature where you can add images to the task blocks which I like because I'm a visual person. I wish the pricing was a bit better and had a local based option for privacy
