Lacks basic security principles
Unfortunately their privacy policy has major privacy concerns preventing me from using Superhuman at work like: - Selling personal data to advertisers - Not specifically stating in the privacy policy how they secure data - They specifically warn to use the service carefully because of potential security concerns. I also contacted Superhuman about basic privacy questions. They referred to additional privacy & security documentation but they so far have not responded to basic privacy questions. I find this unfortunate because I really do like Superhuman on several fronts from a feature perspective.

Fast and efficient, but pricey.
The pricing is my main complaint but it might be justifiable for the time which is saves you. I must say, it's transformed how I handle emails. The speed is unparalleled; emails load instantly, and the keyboard shortcuts make triaging my inbox a breeze. I set up keyboard shortcuts on Gmail too but they are nowhere near as good as the ones in Superhuman. Additionally, the initial learning curve was a bit steep, but once I got the hang of it, my productivity improved. The app is backed by many influencers. The conclusion is that if you have to go trough a lot of emails on a daily basis it may be worth it but if you don't deal with a lot of emails the price is not justifiable.

The best email app I ever had
In the last decade, I have used multiple email clients, including MS Outlook, Apple Mail, Airmail, and later Spark, which I used for a very long time. Then, I found Superhuman. It wasn't love at first glance. I had a few IMAP accounts and an MS365 account for work, so I couldn't move to Superhuman at first because it doesn't support IMAP. However, I returned later and moved everything to Google Workspace, which brought me many benefits I didn't know about. I don't regret anything about this decision. It is a powerful tool worth all of the money. Main pros for me: - sleek, simple design without any distraction - so powerful AI assistant, which may talk to me and write everything not just in English, but even in my Czech language - which is a very minor language just for 10M people - I never used shortcuts in any app; here, it is so natural - calendar integration and features for planning - literally fast as your thought - snippets for often-used replies - reminders make my Inbox zero almost daily - it is f*cking fast If you are a busy solopreneur, this is all you need for professional communication. 10/10 for me, guys. I wish it were great
This product has so much potential, but for me it falls flat for a variety of reasons: - There is no free trial, so you have to pay to test. OK. So I paid to test it. Now my expectations are a little bit higher than before. - Instead of streamlining and doing things for you, it adds another layer of "tasks" on top of your emails. Which I was already using in Gmail with the "Tasks" app. - Coming from Gmail, I was already practicing "inbox zero" by reading and responding to my emails until the unread emails count reached 0. I cannot understand why I need another software to do the same thing. The good parts: - Keyboard shortcuts are cool and certainly saves time once you've taken the time to learn them. But Gmail has them also so why bother learning different ones? I'm not sure what I missed. This product has so much potential and I wish it was good. Email can be greatly improved with AI.

Superhuman: A Powerful Email Tool, But At A Cost
I've been using Superhuman for the past month and have been impressed with its performance. It's fast, has efficient keyboard shortcuts, and well-designed features. However, the high subscription price makes it inaccessible for many. I was initially skeptical about Superhuman due to the price, especially since most of my inbox is updates and marketing emails. But after trying it, I found it to be incredible. Design: Superhuman has a clean, minimalist interface that is easy to navigate, making traditional email apps feel clunky in comparison. Value: At $30 per month, it's one of the most expensive email clients. The features are powerful but may not justify the cost for most users. Features: Superhuman offers a wide range of productivity features, including keyboard shortcuts, send later, follow-up reminders, undo send, and inbox zero assistance. Practicality: Superhuman is great for power users who need to be productive with their email. It offers both keyboard-centric and clickable options, allowing users to adapt their workflow. Performance: Superhuman is fast and responsive, with no lag or loading issues. Overall, Superhuman is a powerful email client that can help with productivity, even for those who primarily receive updates and marketing emails. However, the high price makes it a tough sell for most users. I would recommend Superhuman to power users who need maximum email productivity and are willing to pay a premium. It's not recommended for budget-conscious users.
